Executive MBA scholarship up for grabs
Budding captains of industry are being encouraged to apply for a competition offering a full scholarship on Manchester Metropolitan University's executive MBA programme.
The contest, which is being supported by organisations including the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Directors and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, will see 20 hopefuls taking part in a series of business-related challenges to test their leadership skills.
To be eligible, applicants must have either three years' management experience and an undergraduate degree or a minimum of seven years' experience if they have no higher education qualifications.
The winner will receive a full scholarship for a part-time executive MBA programme starting in October. Two runners-up will be given £3,000 towards their course fees. All three will also win an iPad2.
Daniel Sheratte, MBA programme manager at Manchester Metropolitan University, said, "We're looking for talented professionals who are keen to develop their unique skill set, combining business experiences with formal tuition and who want to adopt an innovative approach within their own organisations.
"The full scholarship is worth over £15,000 and will be a significant investment in the professional development of the winning candidate."
The closing date for applications for the competition is Sunday, 3 July.
