Graduate jobseekers are overlooking the opportunities and benefits associated with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), according to a new survey.
A higher proportion of graduates had entered employment within six months of leaving university in 2009-10 compared with a year earlier, according to new figures.
Graduates are motivated and ambitious, but this does not translate into long-term commitment to their employers, with 40 per cent expecting to leave their current job within a year.
