Manchester University and CLES launch Knowledge Transfer Project
CLES has launched a new project with the Centre for Urban Policy Studies at the University of Manchester. The Knowledge Transfer Project (KTP) has been successful in securing funding from the Technology Strategy Board, on behalf of the UK academic research councils in order to share knowledge and expertise between the centres.
The project means that Nicola Headlam will be based at CLES for the purposes of extending and embedding techniques developed in her doctoral studies at the University of Manchester.
Neil McInroy, chief executive of CLES said: “The space between academia and applied policy is of huge importance in meeting future challenges. Therefore we are delighted that someone of Nicola’s calibre and talents is joining our team.”
