The University of Hertfordshire is holding an additional open day on 4 November to allow post-graduate students a chance to see the university and its facilities.

The open day will run from 2:30pm until 8pm and will give prospective 2010 students, who couldn’t make one of the open days in October, a chance to talk to academic staff as well as take a tour around the campus and accommodation.

Ross Renton, University of Hertfordshire, head of UK access and recruitment said: “We are delighted with the high demand from potential applicants to visit the university. This is the first-time this type of event will run into the evening and will enable a wider range of visitors to attend, including those wishing to study for a post-graduate qualification part-time.”

Potential students also have the opportunity to apply for the variety of unique scholarships, including the Chancellors Entrepreneurial Scholarship. This is awarded to 20 students each year who are looking to study at the University of Hertfordshire and have a business idea they wish to develop.
