Swansea business lecturer shines in top journal ratings
A senior lecturer at Swansea University’s school of business and economics has secured 33rd place as one of the 100 most productive researchers in top Information Systems journals.
Dr Yogesh Dwivedi, senior lecturer in information systems, has maintained 33rd place for the last three years in the website rankings - which track publications in eight leading IS journals in the Senior Scholars’ basket of journals.
The Senior Scholars’ basket of journals was created by the Senior Scholars’ Forum, which consists of senior information systems academics and forms part of the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
Dr Dwivedi is one of only nine UK academics to appear in the IS rankings. His numerous publications have appeared in the Journal of Information Technology, European Journal of Information Systems and Information Systems Journal.
Professor Andrew Henley, head of the school of business at Swansea University says: “Dr Dwivedi is one of Swansea University’s brightest young academics, and is rapidly establishing for himself a reputation as an international expert on the adoption of business information systems and the diffusion of new information technologies into business and government. I am delighted that his work is being recognised in this way. It confirms that he is already in the very top rank in the UK in his field of expertise.”
