University to host European carbon reduction conference

On Wednesday 2 June 2010 Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, will host an energy conference. It will focus on finding ways to support and implement energy efficiency practices in buildings across Northern Europe.

The conference will be delivered as a part of 'Build with CaRe' (BwC), a European project which aims to support and promote energy-efficient building design and construction in the North Sea Region.

The one-day conference will be held at the faculty of health and social care on the university's Garthdee campus. Invitations to attend the free conference are open to policy makers, planners and members of the European construction industry as well as members of the academic and research communities.
